While i was a kid, I never truly had much gadgets thus i guess I early on, I already recognized to care for the few toys that we had. My own dad, who was somewhat of a handyman, made me my very own wooden toy box painted bright yellowish with little compartments inside, which made toy keeping as much fun for me as playing. surprise eggs
Presented that I have two kids of my own, I have taken the values that I received from preserving toys from years as a child to present. While I actually can afford more toys and games for my children now than my parents from back then, I do not splurge and still keep a practical strategy when it comes to getting the kids gadgets. Many of the playthings that my seven season old has used from before is still being enjoyed by my four yr old today.
Luckily, my children has designed a careful demeanor when it comes to managing their toys, I believe this is the main thing, and a first step to making sure the longevity of toys. Youngsters and toys need to have a bond, so that the children will take extra care in handling them. It also really helps to train them that sharing is important, and that if they don’t manage their toys, their brothers or sisters will be burning off it as well.
Once i choose toys for kids, I keep in brain that these will be subject to rough handling, so I choose ones that are performed with strong material. They need to be screwed properly as well, it they are joined up with together by screws. We choose quality over price as well, because it pays for itself in the long term.
I also mend and repair toys at the first indication of destruction. My seven year old’s car toy’s door received recently detached, and i also noticed that this individual lost affinity for it once it got broken. Therefore what I did was just to superglue the door to the car, let it dry right away, and it was as good as new.
My spouse and i also got my father to make another toy chest, light blue this time, with the youngsters name stenciled on the cover. I also had some photographs of them hidden inside, and on the chest are the same compartments which managed to get seem to be as if the toys and games had their own “rooms” that i used to enjoy so much. Now my kids also look forwards to storing their toys and games after playtime as We used to after i was a kid!
My kids also know that they will only receive new toys and games during a several special situations, namely on their birthday parties, after the school 12 months ends, and during Xmas. I rarely give them toys on impulse, so they know that they have to manage the toys that they have at hand. It may appear frugal, but more than this I actually assume that the children get a bigger lesson responsibility by employing these techniques.
